Volunteer Program

MASA’s volunteers enjoy a widely diverse crop-growing experience. We use all types of irrigation and cultivation methods and are currently growing over 200 types of plants. There is something for everyone to do in the nursery, the fields, or the greenhouse and volunteers learn all aspects of farming and seed growing.

Our volunteer program runs year round! From March to October we are in full-swing with activities in the Seed House and Nursery as well as outside on our farms. From October to March, we are cleaning and distributing seed in the Seed House.

We are growing open-pollinated, organic, regionally-adapted seed for our non-profit seed bank to increase local food security for generations to come. We are located on 75th between Baseline and Arapahoe on a beautiful historical farm.

Many hands make light and fun work! Come learn about open-pollinated seed production, contribute to local food sovereignty, and make new friends. To join us on the farm, in the office, or as a board member, please fill out the form below. We will get back to you ASAP. Group visits are most welcome. We look forward to meeting you!
